What is Health Coaching?
Health Coaching is about helping others find their own best health solutions through conversation and health teaching. Active listening, powerful coaching questions, action planning and providing accountability are all responsibilities of a health coach. Health coaching is not about giving advice, “righting” or “fixing” a client’s situation. Instead, it is about connecting with a client, partnering with them, learning about their perspective, and having them be an active party in their own health decisions.
Why Should I Hire a Coach?
Health coaches are licensed/credentialed medical healthcare professionals who have the clinical expertise to guide patients safely and appropriately given the client’s health condition/s.
Clients of health coaches desire to maintain or achieve an optimal state of health and wellness and/or better manage chronic conditions and health risks.
As your health coach, it is my job and passion to encourage your efforts, listen and understand your perspective, guide you on your journey and supervise your progress. Together, we can develop your unique superpowers ultimately leading to better behaviors and health outcomes.
